GLITTERCHEST, the debut LP from Sydney’s LIMETIPE is minimal, rhythmic and hyper-coloured.
GLITTERCHEST weaves together elements of bass musics such as garage,
juke, wonky and UK funky to form new snaking hybrid rhythmns. The LP comes across as explorative rhythmic arrangements for contemporary bass and beat heads.
LIMETIPE is a drummer turned electronic musician with equal skills in beats and melody. Each track is fueled by slowly evolving melodic motifs, both minimal and yet expressive.
